Creating Cappsool’s Design System

At Cappsool Technologies, I led the design of a scalable, multi-brand Design System to bring consistency to a growing platform that spans multiple industries. Prior to this work, each industry vertical had its own design approach, leading to chaos, inefficiency, and slowdowns across teams, especially during the intense acceleration demands of the COVID era.

To solve this, I researched user and business needs across verticals, created a UI inventory to identify inconsistencies, and established a shared visual language. I implemented a centralized system in Figma, building out a consistent set of rules for colors, typography, icons, and motion. I also worked closely with engineering to ensure the system was implemented and maintained properly.

This Design System unified over 15 websites, improved UX, sped up development, and made onboarding and collaboration significantly more efficient. It gave Cappsool the tools to scale quickly, without sacrificing quality or cohesion.
